How does one send a DMCA notice to take copyright infringing material down from our site?
DMCA Takedown requests
Because we allow third parties to post content to our website, a third party may innocently, ignorantly, or deliberately, present other persons I.P. against our rules.
If you are, or are the authorized agent of, the I P rights holder to posted content, please be assured that copyright infringement is entirely against our policy, or that of any other web sites we support in our DMCA takedown capacity.
To report such an infringement for immediate action,
you must:
1- Identify what copyrighted work is being infringed. (Please include specifics* so we can also confirm the material, and also ascertain its copyright status)
should we at our sole discretion choose to do so.
2- Specify* what is the infringing, material and where the infringing material is located on our website;
3- Specify your email address and all other information that allows us to contact you or your agent directly;**
4- State your (or your agent’s) good faith belief that the infringing post is unauthorized;
5- State that information in your notice is accurate
6- State that your request is made under penalty of perjury.
7- You (or your agent authorized to act on your behalf) must sign physically or electronically. **
These elements are specified by copyright law to be included in a takedown notice. (If most of these elements are not specified enough to be verified, we may refuse that request to take down the material.)
DMCA takedown processes apply to all copyrightable work even if owner has yet to register their work with the U.S. Copyright Office. It only applies to copyright infringement claims.
You may send your take down request by U S mail to:
DMCA Take Down Secretary
Ant Theater Scholarship Foundation Corp.
P O Box 2256
Pasadena CA 911002
Or by email to:
dmca.admin@anttheater.org
If you email, please check your email for a “we have received your request” response within three days, and, if you have yet to receive that, please resend your DMCA Take Down Request. (Email is imperfect. Competent experts have determined that up to 10% of emails vanish from delivery before they can be read.)
We will post an explanation of where we are in handling the DMCA take down process. When web sites we service exclude keeping PCI or PII, we will post this request where the alleged infringing material was, immediately upon receipt. This will be the only possible notice to the post contributor
The poster may use their site poster identity to respond. This may include a request of counter-notice from the post contributor. If this alleged infringer in good faith does not think the post is infringing, he or she can send a counter notice explaining why they disagree with the copyright owner. That will also be posted as service of the counter notice to the person who sent the original takedown notice.
A counter notice must contain:
1- The identifying specifics* of alleged infringing material and its location prior to its removal per the take down request.
2- The identity of the alleged infringer as rights owner (or agent) with contact means: name, contact address, email and/or phone number**.
3- Statement of good faith or belief that the material challenged was original, fair use, or in public domain.
4- Statement of good faith belief that the removal (and/or disabling of a linkage) is the result of a mistake, or misidentification.
5- Statement of consent to be sued in U.S. Federal Court.
6- State that your counter-notice is made under penalty of perjury.
7- You (or your agent authorized to act on your behalf) must sign physically or electronically.
Current law provides that once the post is so noticed, the rights holder may sue the alleged infringer in civil court within 14 calendar days (or 10 business days, whichever is longer). A scan or image of the front page of the filed suit showing the case number should be sent to the DMCA Take Down Secretary. If that is done, the alleged infringing post will remain taken down until the suit is settled, and per court decision.
If an image of the filed suit fails to be timely received, the post that is alleged to have been infringing will be attached to the post locus as a newly posted contribution.
*- A logical question is ‘how to do this without causing a repeat of the alleged offense?’ An example may suffice: “In the comment beginning ‘Phred Phrog’, the words starting ‘Tom Bombadil’ and the 367 words afterwards until the concluding words ‘the Orc died’.”
** - We avoid retaining PCI or PII. A one use code will encrypt for on screen display, and each data will be redacted as requested; once redacted, same will be purged from our own records.
LAST PREVIOUS UPDATE! AS WE ARE GOING ACTIVE, but not all parts are quite ready yet, here are some announcements

18. Description of services:
18a. The Ant Theater will produce:
Ant Theater Scholarship Grant Awards, public awards and recognitions, facilitating contact among learners, incubating freemium Promotional option, a mentorship matching channel.
The Past as Prologue:
When the Modern Era ended in 1993, with the birth of InterNet distributed communications, Modern Theater seemed out-dated, and disconnected to the freshly born Media Presentation options being developed. Ant Theater is designed to redress the rampant defunding by budget stressed school districts of classes in the Theater Arts and all forms of Media Presentation. Its support is designed to further incentivize this education of the most talented of those who were deprived of those learning opportunities, yet who are enrolled in study in a four year college or university, a community college, or a professional extension or distance learning program such as the Higher Adult and Life-long Education (HALE) programs, from institutions like MIT, Harvard, Cornell, MSU, and others recognized and recommended for those still serving and for returning veterans, who find part-time jobs that support families while going to school have all but vanished.
FAQ==========================
Why do we need this Service to be provided?
Western civilization has mostly avoided the American error of decades of defunding media education. In almost every other developed country, passing a full year of analytic media education is required in order to graduate from high school: We are speaking, not of sitting and watching media, but of actively deconstructing media and its production to discover what can be learned about its physical, sensory, psychological, and humanly dynamic processes, both as a science and in practice. Economic analysts now speak routinely of the “screen surface of vulnerability” of our many electronic interfaces, as State and NGO players with active programs execute plans to pragmatically aggress through media for economic advantage. This is the way Economic Analysts spoke of the growth of Global-Local Economic Competition Opportunities only a decade ago.
The Answering Heart of Ant Theater is to support creative talent in its Education in Theater Arts and Media. To identify Creativity requires a baseline provided by a Standard Source Text. (Otherwise, Creativity may become lost behind facades of mere screen value.) Our financial design is to support those with interest and creative talents, discovered by using rubrics and juried evaluations by trade professionals. To feed that financing engine requires a supporting Community of Interest, attracting both practitioners without the same financial need (Portfolio submitters), and also more who will be communicating to a broader public, a fan base that builds a growing general public conversation (Members).
Each community requires a different kind of service:
Scholarship Grant Awards are our core activity, to support those actively learning, with recognitions, which needs to be sustained by broad public financial support, to continue to incentivize learning the uses, techniques and understandings of media transforming new technologies and the transformed contexts these produce.
The Community of Interest requires an opportunity drawing interest of those semi-informed who live in this world of media arts presentation, such as the Freemium Portfolio opportunity. They will then measure themselves against the Scholarship Award community, and increasingly realize the value of what they still have to learn, and its effective utility in the practice of Theater Arts and Media. They will inherently seek the Audience of Broader Communities, both professionally and publicly, and bring in more persons as they reveal what they know, and learn. They will multiply the encouragement of the discovered stars, new research, and techniques as they observe and learn more and more.
The Members are the fan base, the growing broad audience, the rooters, the outreach to the whole General Public. They require free access to the process, the postings, the proven regrowth of appreciation, for the effects of the knowledge base that underlies these arts. Continuing to conceal from our own learners what our competitors are studying no longer monopolizes the world market.
Most media producers already know this. All Media Industries’ support may be expected, from stage to electronic, from screen to interactive immersive.
Companies that intend to mentor, or sponsor mentorships, are encouraged to participate in the Ant Theater Community.

To Apply for Scholarships, a Producer-Sponsor must register the claimed Application ticket number, and, when validated, has one month to gather all Team ’s Member I D’s and submit them. to Ant Theater as the responsible contact person for the team effort that is sponsored.
The limit is one team Application submission per Application ticket number. Producer-Sponsors are required to present a new Application submission packet for each Application submission.
Awards are given as scholarship grants to individual Team members divided on a per capita basis to accepting team members.
We are reminded that only one scholarship can be awarded to any one team members per year. In other words, if I am on two Teams, and both receive Awards, I have to accept or decline a share of only one Award, state my choice, and the per capita division of the Award to each of the rest of the Team is adjusted accordingly.
Warranted information will be verified before awards are given out.
Only one award is allowed per each team member per year. Any awards that share the same name, email address, mailing or shipping address, telephone number, credit card, or IP address will be considered the same team Member for this purpose.
2- Specify* what is the infringing, material and where the infringing material is located on our website;
3- Specify your email address and all other information that allows us to contact you or your agent directly;**
4- State your (or your agent’s) good faith belief that the infringing post is unauthorized;

WHY THE ANONYMITY?
The Integrity of Ant Theater Scholarships and processes require anonymity. Ant Theater uses judges from the Trades to effectively discover and support their own creative talent to be award support for skill improvement in all aspects of Theater Arts and Media Production.
FAQ==========================
